The greenhouse light transmission is slightly lower at 62% and the most important benefit to this change is the new R Value of 3.03.  This is a 21% improvement over the 16mm triple wall polycarbonate greenhouses previously offered. 

 

This means that a greenhouse glazed with the new five wall polycarbonate will cost 21% less to heat than the previous triple wall greenhouse glazing.

 

In addition, the five wall polycarbonate greenhouse is approximately 50% more efficient than a double glass greenhouse, 10mm triple wall polycarbonate greenhouses and 8mm four wall polycarbonate greenhouses.  It is approximately 80% more efficient than 6mm twin wall polycarbonate greenhouses or 8mm twin wall polycarbonate greenhouse panels.

 

Ultimately, this is the most energy efficient line of greenhouses available on today's market!
